Naim tagged me to do something called seven things where you’re suppose to say seven things about yourself. So I might as well do it because seven is less than that twenty-five things going around.

1. Baritone Saxophone is my favorite instrument. Of all the different instruments I’ve played through my life (including Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone, and Piano). I still like the Bari Sax the best. I think it came down to the fact I like Baritone sounds.

2. Guns are currently a passion for me. I don’t believe in using them to hurt people, but I certainly like to shoot at paper, fruits, and zombies. My first gun is a Mauser Broomhandle. Also, there has to be a reason for me to purchase the firearm. It can be anything, like the history or personality. My reasoning for getting a broomhandle is because ammo is loaded from a stripper clip and not from a magazine.

3. I’ve met most of my online friends in real life. Some flew from as far as Europe when we would meet up in Canada. I even met up with Sandy a few years back in Australia. Of course, they are all awesome.

4. I got a degree in Economics, but work in IT. That’s always fun. Experience does count in this world. My prior experience was doing Network IT for a year as a student.

5. I’m going for a Master in IT program. MBA might come next if I feel up to it.

6. I love Anime, especially anything related with Robots.

7. Lastly, I’m a gamer. A lot of what I’ve become is probably attributed to games. Some negative, but mostly positive. I’ve met a lot of great people and became friends from our interest. Relic Forums folks and my Zotzone UCI friends

Lastly, I’m going to end this meme here. I might get a curse but I’ll shoot it in the face.

Ontarget

I wish the weekend was here now. I need to recover fully from this jetlag. Also need to add some descriptions to my Asia photos.

In other news, I went back to playing Team Fortress 2 and its refreshing to go back to it time and time again. Also still playing Warhammer as well. The guild actually got big since we started recruiting people. Once we’re up to level, we’ll begin to tackle the end game stuff.

I uploaded my pictures yesterday. Haven’t had time to add titles or descriptions to them.

Yay, heading out to Hong Kong and Hainan Island tomorrow morning. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Fancy hat!

Fancy hat is fancy!

Left 4 Dead fun

Folks who pre-ordered the game go an early access to the demo on Steam. The setting is pretty simply, you and three friends try to survive through a zombie apocolypse with lots of guns. It’s almost like Counter-Strike: Zombie mod, but you can not exploit the map geometry to survive.

I’m glad that the developers, formerly Turtle Rock Stuidos, decided to take the time to polish the game. The matchmaking service worked out pretty well and the game ran as smooth as butter. Weapons also sound pretty beefy. I suppose the AI director, a main feature of the game, could throw out more zombies to kill but we’ll see what happens if we crank up the difficulty settings.

Also Gears of War 2 today.

Valkyria Chronicles and Gears of War 2 coming out this week @_@. I also dropped my pre-order of Mirror’s Edge and decided to hold off on that. Also, Left 4 Dead coming out in about two weeks as well.

Ho Ho Ho Fallout 3

So Fallout 3 finally came out after many years. Produced by Bethesda Softworks, the first-person RPG is powered by the engine that also powered Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. I currently made a melee/small guns character and having a blast running through it has a good guy. I’m going for the evil route next.

Warhammer Online

Eeeekkk…. a new mmo currently in play… :/
